On Friday, dance music impresario, EDX, released his genre-bending collaboration with Leventina, “The Tempest," via Spinnin’ Records. In the midst of touring around the world, EDX manifests his production expertise to redefine his signature sound with a fusion of styles. With "The Tempest,” EDX, along with Helvetic Nerds’ Leventina, adds an electro-house edge to the progressive house vibe that his fans know and love. After putting out his single, “Hyped,” on October 21st, EDX didn’t waste any time in prepping another highly anticipated track for November. “The Tempest” quickly moves from subtle beginnings to high energy electro that demands movement on the dance floor. Shortly after, a brief bridge ensues allowing for listeners to catch a breath with gorgeous strings that eventually evolve into lush, uplifting pads. Strong drums then join the pads for a slow build before returning to the rocking electro segment. EDX’s collaborations with Leventina are always on point, and this latest track is no exception.
