After much anticipation, Every Nite, the new EP from celebrated Canadian trio Keys N Krates, finally dropped in late September to considerable acclaim. Now, Keys N Krates are presenting Every Nite (The Remixes), which brims with an impressive selection of forwarding thinking talent including Machinedrum, Darq E Freaker, Chris Lorenzo, Taiki Nulight and R3ll. With early radio support from Monki, Sinden, and B.Traits, the remixes feature styles ranging from juke to UK bass to Jersey club, Every Nite aptly demonstrates Keys N Krates’ evolution as a band, as well as their loyalty to the unique fusion of hip-hop and electronic music that they’re known for.

Every Nite (The Remixes)comes hot off the heels of the hugely successful Every Nite Tour with Gladiator and Thugli, which took the band across the expanse of North America for nearly 40 dates.

Over the next three months, Willy Joy and Buku will be banging out these two rip-roaring trap anthems on their co-headlining nationwide Leaner and Meaner Tour. In a recent interview, Willy explains how the two make such a great combination on tour: “Our sounds are similar enough that it makes sense on a bill together, but different enough that it draws unique crowds, and makes it a really interesting show. It’s just fun, we always have a good time performing together.”

Michael Brun’s newly established label Kid Coconut released a brand new mix called Arkham, by an emerging trio of producers: Lee Carter, Daniel Etienne, and Oliver Chang. The new single is part of Brun’s ongoing effort to turn Kid Coconut into a home for emerging artists around the world.

“I grew up in Haiti, immersed in music and listening to a range of genres and styles through my Haitian father and Guyanese mother. It was that electric range of sounds that shaped my own passion for music and influenced me as I began my career as an electronic music producer.

It’s been my longtime goal to share my culture through my music, and to showcase my diversity as an artist, from the more melodic and progressive, to the deeper, groove oriented sounds. This is why I am so excited to be launching my label, Kid Coconut.

As well as being my home, Kid Coconut will also provide a platform for artists I respect and admire to release their music in a personal unfiltered way, and share their own musical journeys.

-Michael Brun

Ultimately, Arkham represents everything that Kid Coconut stands for: melody-driven progressive house composed by an international group of talent. Arkham unites Haiti, Mexico, England and America under the Kid Coconut label. But perhaps most impressive is the age of its producers with Carter 18 years old, Chang 17, and young Etienne just 16.

Listen to the fresh track here:

Brun liked the initial idea of Arkham so much that he decided to create his own version of the track, ramping up the intensity to festival-scale. See a video of him working on the track here:

The work obviously paid off with Steve Angello already supporting the track on his BBC Radio One show.

Arkham is available to purchase here!

Expect many many new things to come from the ground breaker new label Kid Coconut.
