Mysteryland USA is thrilled to have Brooklyn’s own foodie heaven, Smorgasburg host their very own Food Fest this Memorial Day Weekend. Dubbed "The Woodstock of Eating” by The New York Times, it’s only fitting that the culinary fair makes camp at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, the site of the legendary 1969 Woodstock festival.

Smorgasburg has become a key destination for foodies in New York City.  Located on the Williamsburg waterfront every Saturday and in Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 5 every Sunday during the spring and summer season, the open-air food bazaar has over 100 amazing vendors that bring in over 10,000 patrons each market day so far this year.
Just like the music and art at Mysteryland, the food will be eclectic as ever, featuring tasty choices from Smorgasburg staples ranging from delicious dumplings to dairy/gluten free ice cream.

Alchemy Creamery – Unique ice cream flavor combinations fused with hazelnut, almond, & coconut milk blends. All creations are dairy-free, gluten-free, as well as certified kosher & vegan.

Anthi’s – Classic Greek dishes and desserts made from family recipes by a chef steeped in tradition and New York dining.

Brooklyn Wok Shop – Delicious noodles, dumplings and more, made with only hormone-free and antibiotic-free beef, chicken and pork. The food is house made in small batches, on premises, cooked to order and never has MSG. Don’t forget to try their famous chili oil!

Chickpea & Olive – Savory sandwiches and snacks that are completely vegan and made from all organic ingredients.

Dan and John’s Wings – Authentic chicken wings made by two Buffalonians living in NYC.

Home Frite – Offering fresh-cut fries with skin on served in unique and attractive paper cones. All Natural Russet Potatoes are prepared in a careful 4-step cooking process which creates the perfect fry that is crispy and fluffy. They are gluten free, use canola oil, and have many vegan options. All of the dipping sauces are made in house from scratch and they rotate seasonal ingredients to offer a wide range of fresh flavors and pleasing choices for all. Customers find the package of golden crispy frites to be very convenient and fun to hold in one hand with its built in condiment holder for easy dipping.

Jack’s Chedbred – Not your traditional cornbread by any stretch of imagination. Decadent, moist, & cheesy cornbreads from a master of the American classic. Also experience the Ched Dog, a bold take on the classic corn dog, prepared with house-made sausages and mouthwatering spreads, glazes and mayos.

Landhaus – Home of the famous maple bacon stick, also be sure to check delicious burgers made from all natural ingredients and grass fed beef. Grab a fresh mint lemonade to wash it all down.

Being a 21 and over festival, all attendees can enjoy Smorgasburg’s New York craft/local beer tent which will supply drafts of Angry Orchard Crisp Cider, Captain Lawrence Kolsch, Empire White Aphro, Keegan Ales Hurricane Kitty IPA, and Kelso Pilsner. Speciality cocktails available include Bourbon Arnold Palmer, Dark & Stormy, Rum Punch and Tequila Fresca.

Other exciting edible options at Mysteryland USA include: Bakehouse, Bella Aroma Pizza, Fresh Classics, Hungry Hungry Hippies, Ice Cream Disco, Luigi’s, Mike’s Restaurant, Peace Love & Ice Cream, Strawberry Fields, Smokehouse, and Vegetarian Oasis

In the Healing Garden, stop by Jack & Ashley’s 1978 Dodge camper for the Communal Dinner Experience. Their workshop will re-create a mini version of the dinners they prepare in their Brooklyn home as they like bringing people together over home-cooked meals and inspiring, thought-provoking conversations between strangers. Jack & Ashley will share their practice as chefs and hosts with vegan cooking workshops and yoga, as well as maintaining a safe space to relax. There will be shade, vibey records, and refreshing treats. Stop by for a laugh, a stretch, or simply a place to take a break from the sensory overload of the festival. There will also be vegan sushi and cool green tea served for all who attend.

Rekorderlig, the premium hard cider brand from Sweden, will curate a host of “Beautifully Swedish” programming, including a designated “Bar in the Woods,” acoustic music sessions and – even more exciting still – a hot air balloon “cider experience in the sky”. Made from Europe’s most accredited pure spring water source in the heart of Vimmerby Sweden, Rekorderlig is a beloved cider, created by the fourth generation family owned brewery. Now available in the United States, the 4.5% ABV cider will be available in three flavors, Strawberry-Lime, Pear and Wild Berries.
