Paxahau, Detroit’s electronic music powerhouse and producer of the annual Movement Music Festival in Hart Plaza, has revealed the lineup for its 20-year milestone celebration, Pax.20. The event will take place on Saturday, September 8th at Bert’s Warehouse in Eastern Market. Fans can expect a night reminiscent of Detroit’s famous warehouse parties, featuring Techno titan Richie Hawtin, dance music pioneer John Acquaviva, and Detroit underground legend Acid Pimp.
Founded in 1998, Paxahau quickly established itself as a leading resource for electronic music content and events, most notably as one of the first platforms to stream music online through its Paxahau Webcast series. Many staples of the global electronic music scene have sets archived, including classic sets from Chris Liebing (2000), Carl Cox (2001), Ricardo Villalobos (2002), Marco Carola (2003), as well as Detroit Techno pioneers Carl Craig (2001) and Kevin Saunderson (2001), just to name a few.
