The all live electronic music festival at Avant Gardner was lit up by the heavy hitters from start to finish.

Cityfox is known to push the limits of what is “conventional” with nearly every production they put together thus far, and the all live electronic music festival at Avant Gardner on February 16th was no exception to this trend.

Typically live electronic performances are difficult to come by because of the convenience that scheduling DJ sets allow for, but Cityfox Live Festival boldly showcased some of the top live acts in electronic music from all over the world for one special night.

The Great Hall was lit up by the heavy hitters from start to finish; Wajatta provided energy with a bouncy set early in the night, Âme captivated the room with masterful builds of suspense, and Stephan Bodzin brought it home with powerful melodies.

Most notably though was Giorgia Angiuli in The Lost Circus with a truly out of the box performance as she used obscure instruments like a toy ray gun and a motion activated glove that manipulated musical parameters. Overall, despite the anticipated hiccup or two that comes along with live-sets, Cityfox Live Festival’s debut went relatively well and the music was absolutely phenomenal which is all we really care about.
