Oscar L — Vertigo EP out via Truesoul

The Spaniard last appeared on Truesoul in May 2018, dropping a trio of inspired rollers that fitted the budding summer season like a dream. With festival season and Ibiza in full swing, his return is perfectly timed.

His ‘Vertigo’ EP is his strongest release yet for the imprint, with a triumvirate of cuts showcasing his evolving skills as a producer. ‘Unique’ fizzes with energetic verve as an undulating synth line builds excitement, alongside a vocal and a foundation of punchy beats. ‘Vertigo’ is a deeper, tribal house triumph, expertly displaying Oscar’s flair for arranging complex drum sequences. ‘Exodo’ is the sleeker, more bass-driven accompaniment, perfect for late-night moments.

The Spaniard delivers yet again. Oscar L’s ‘VERTIGO’ EP is an amalgam of sounds, and my favorite out of the trio shares the EP’s name. Vertigo’s intricacy definitely won me over, I found it hard to resist its infectious rich tribal house vibes.
