If an artist’s first release of the year sets the bar for what’s to come, Autoerotique and 4B’s collaboration “Bukem” points to a promising 2015 for both Dim Mak producers.
In their inaugural joint effort, the duo fuses marching bass-percussion with piercing synthesizer stabs to create the tribal-tinged “Bukem.” The track has already received support from industry kingpins such as Diplo, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, Afrojack and Laidback Luke.
Out as a two-week Beatport exclusive, “Bukem” follows a slew of successful releases from production whiz Autoerotique including his Beatport #1 “Asphyxiation” as well as hotly-tipped collaborations such as “Badman” with Max Styler, ”Murda Dem“ with Mercer and ”Feedback“ with Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike which peaked at #3 on Beatport’s Main Chart.

Producing within his own unique genre dubbed “Lazer Funk,” the unpredictable Canadian consistently pushes boundaries and breaks the mold with his wide range of composition capabilities. Having reupholstered the works of superstars including Skrillex and Diplo, Autoerotique has garnered worldwide support that can only grow from here.
His counterpart 4B made a commanding entrance into the dance music realm with his rollicking track “Bomboclat” which premiered on BBC Radio 1extra’s Diplo & Friends mix last spring and received support from an impressive list of heavy-hitters such as DJ Snake, DVBBS, Zeds Dead, Clockwork, Hudson Mohawke and Laidback Luke. The Jersey Club maestro has since released music with two of electronic music’s most influential imprints, Mad Decent and Dim Mak, in addition to DJing opening sets for the likes of Laidback Luke, GTA and Meek Mill.
