Bass Scene Phenoms Jauz & Ghastly Release Long-Awaited Collaboration
The ubiquitous bass scene of electronic music has seen hundreds of entrants rise up over the past several years, vying for supremacy in a genre still ruled by Mad Decent and OWSLA bosses Diplo and Skrillex. Perhaps none have made a statement and blazed their own path more so than Jauz and Ghastly.
From Jauz’s genre-defining ‘Feel the Volume’ to Ghastly’s ‘Crank It’ (with Mija), the two have been responsible for the most iconic tracks in bass music over the years.
They have combined efforts on ‘Ghosts N’ Sharks’, a track that has been gaining infamy as both have deployed the peak time weapon in live sets for several months now. Powerful electro chords rip through the opening bars, laying tracks for a speaker-rattling amalgamation of styles that highlights both artists’ approach to their craft.
