Today, DJ/producer and dance music icon, Tiësto, released the new track “Infected” with one of dance music’s most exciting up-and-coming producers, JAUZ on Musical Freedom Records. The song, which will also be used by Budweiser in an upcoming campaign, and is available as a free download. In celebration of their highly-anticipated set at one of the world’s largest dance music festivals, Tomorrowland, the two powerhouse producers decided to gift fans the larger-than-life track, “Infected.”

“I’ve been lucky to have my fans support my music for so long. I’ve given lots of tracks and remixes away over the years (including my remix of “All of Me”) but I want to start doing it more,” said Tiësto. “I have a few new releases that we’re going to give away between now and the end of the year and this is the first one. I loved working with JAUZ. He’s made some amazing tracks and I think this one we made is huge!”

The artists worked together to create a song inspired by the transformation that happens when fans are immersed by the energy, experience and music at Tomorrowland. The song captures the belief that music is the ultimate form of self-expression, with the ability to “infect the soul.”

Look out for the original music video for “Infected,” created by Budweiser, to be released on Monday, July 18th.

With a remarkable career spanning over 20 years, Tiësto remains one of the top dance music acts in the world. Revered for his live shows as well as for his production and remix work, Tiësto is a globally celebrated DJ that has been named “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and the #1 DJ by Rolling Stone. Through revolutionary moments such as being the first DJ to open the Olympic Games and headlining festivals like Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Stereosonic, Tomorrowland, Ultra and more, he has helped pave the way for today’s modern music landscape. His 2014 album, A Town Called Paradise, yielded Tiësto his first platinum single in the United States with “Wasted (feat. Matthew Koma)” and his first gold single “Red Lights.” In February 2015, Tiësto was awarded a Grammy in the Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical category for his remix of John Legend’s “All Of Me.” This was Tiësto’s first Grammy Award and second Grammy nomination.

Genre blending has always been a core tenant of JAUZ – the project of 23 year old LA-based producer, Sam Vogel. In just over a year, JAUZ has influenced the sound of festivals and dance floors worldwide with massive hits like “Feel The Volume” and “Rock The Party”. His unique style has led to some heavy-hittingoriginal collaborations such as “SQUAD OUT!” with Skrillex and “Higher” with Netsky, garnering supportfrom the likes of Calvin Harris, Zedd, Diplo, Axwell & Ingrosso and Pendulum to name a few. JAUZ’s euphoric originals and viral remixes seamlessly weave in and out of several musical categories, staying trueto his creed: “music has no boundaries.”

Headed by legendary producer and Grammy winner, Tiësto, Musical Freedom Records has been the hub for emerging talent for the last six years. Created in 2009, the imprint has been responsible for discovering many new talents early on in their careers. Hand picked by Tiësto himself, the label has had releases from some of EDM’s biggest stars including Hardwell, Diplo, Martin Garrix and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Some of Musical Freedom’s most iconic releases include Quintino & Sandro Silva’s “Epic,” which jumpstarted the popularity of EDM in mainstream music as well as the release of Oliver Heldens’ “Gecko,” which is responsible for kicking off the widely popular future house sound. In addition to singles, the label also hosts a radio show that invites artists to showcase their own ‘musical freedom’ in an hour-long set giving guests the opportunity to step outside the box of what they would typically play live.
