MAKJ presents Revolution Radio,
a weekly podcast hosted by the producer himself, filled with his
favorite tunes, exclusive edits and previews of upcoming releases.
Spanning across 24 stations worldwide, Revolution Radio will air every
Wednesday thereafter at 6PM PST (9PM EST) on Sirius XM’s Electric Area.
Discovering
his passion for DJing at only fifteen years old, MAKJ has since been a
star in the making. Dedicating several years honing and perfecting his
skills, he built his foundation under the guidance of a dance music
legend, the late DJ AM. Last year, MAKJ hit a milestone in his career
landing on DJ Mag’s Top 100. Around the same time, he released his remix
of O.T. Genasis’ “Coco,” a smash success that was performed live the
following year at Ultra Music Festival with a special appearance from
the rapper himself. This year, MAKJ continued the momentum with multiple
collaborations including “Encore” with Henry Fong, “Derp” with
Bassjackers, and “Ante Up” and “READY!” with Deorro – along with his
original “Generic” that was released on Spinnin’ Records.
MAKJ says, “I
remember the first time I heard one of my songs on Sirius XM / Electric
Area, it was one of the first moments where I felt like I had made it.
To now be adding my show, Revolution Radio, to their incredible roster
of DJs is something I’m ecstatic to be apart of.”
