Swedish DJ/producer Adrian Lux played an amazing set at Pacha NYC Friday night. Toward the beginning he played his most well-known Grammy Award nominated track “Teenage Crime”. Then soon after Mark Knight’s “Your Love”. He efficaciously mixed a wide range of electronic dance music genres including progressive, electro, and even deep house. The crowd went insane when he dropped “Reload” by Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash. Party goers were pretty much bouncing up and down to the beats. They had so much energy the entire night. He played some of my favorite tracks from last year including “ I AM” by Axwell and Sick Individuals ft. Taylr Rene and “Got a Feeling” by Josh Butler (Bontan Remix Pleasurekraft Edit). He mixed in more of his own music as well including the classic track “Wild Child” with Marcus Schossow ft. JJ (Mysto & Pizzi and Moeiz remix). The remix definitely gives it a fresh new sound. One of the highlights of his set would definitely have to be the innovative mashup of “No Good” by Fedde le Grand, Sultan and Ned Shepard and “Legacy” by Nicky Romero and Krewella (“No Good” vs “Legacy”). Adrian thoroughly entertained us all even towards the end when he played Alesso’s remix of One Republic’s “If I lose myself.”
