When BigCityBeats set up their “biggest rainproof club in the world” for a single weekend in the heart of Europe – the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME – every blade of grass around the Commerzbank-Arena will be quivering and picnic blankets on the hallowed pitch of Eintracht Frankfurt will be rippling from the vibrations!

The extravaganza planned for 31st May and 1st June 2014 in the middle of a major metropolis in the centre of Europe will be the mother of all electronic music festivals, occupying an area extending over half a million square metres. The line-up, too, promises to break records. Spectacular headlining artists David Guetta, Tiësto, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alesso, Dada Life, Martin Garrix, Showtek and Krewella have already signed up – an unprecedented array of top DJs for one club over a single weekend.

An extraordinary highlight is set to headline the opening ceremony of the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME. From the United Kingdom PET SHOP BOYS, world famous pioneers of electro-pop who will perform their “Electric” world tour concert production. After this inaugural show, the club will be turned over to DAVID GUETTA and TIËSTO, with a sensational club fireworks display during their closing set.

Another highlight for all bass fans will be the Dubstep/Drum`n`Bass Tent Stage, which has never been seen in this form in Germany. All four artists on this floor are right at the forefront of this exciting music genre. Serving up a loud alternative to the main-stage fare will be NETSKY (DJ set) from England, the Circus Records producer FLUX PAVILION, EXCISION from Canada and the dynamic British duo MODESTEP (DJ set). The whole spectacle is presented by the Wobble Event series from the Boothaus. An ideal alternative to the Main Stage.

The BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME will exude the glamour of a club and the open-air atmosphere of a festival. A unique pulley construction, enabling the roof of the Commerzbank-Arena to be closed in the space of 15 minutes, guarantees that the “world’s biggest club” will offer a rain-free festival experience. Overhead and on the fringes of the stages and floors an armada of acrobats and dancers will be stoking the ambience still further.

The VIP area, too, will provide another wonder of epic dimensions. With three floors and a party terrace right across from the stage, it is set to be the biggest party VIP area of all time.

This will be hosted by none other than Mousse T. The Bed Affairs party on the Saturday, an event which was attended by Paris Hilton in the past, will go on until daybreak on Sunday. And the Dorian Gray, the last word in Frankfurt clubbing, is being revived for the occasion, conjuring up memories of unforgettable partying.

With its 500,000 m² of surrounding land, the lush green grass of the football pitches and numerous inviting sunbathing areas, the area outside the roiling stadium will be the perfect chill-out area from which to savour the beats and sounds wafting from the club music circles and tent floors across the intervening space.

A completely new stage and sound concept promises an extraordinary musical experience on the grass, in the stands and in the exclusive boxes of this amazing arena. And with a sensational line-up of top-drawer international EDM stars, BigCityBeats is set to transform the Commerzbank-Arena, at the epicentre of an inner-city festival, into the “world’s biggest open-air club”.
