The Nordic Sonar weekend will take place on February 13, 14 & 15  in Reykjavík andon February 14 & 15 in Stockholm. In total, Sonar has scheduled around 100 performances between the two cities.

In Reykjavík, each evening will begin at 7pm, running through to 2am. The line-up will include around 60 international and Icelandic artists spread across five stages: Silfuberg, Nordurljos, Kaldalón (auditorium seating) and Flói. Parking will be available in the building.

Sonar Reykjavík will be held in Harpa, one of the most unique auditoriums in Europe. The Harpa building houses the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and The Icelandic Opera and was designed by Henning Larsen Architects in collaboration with renowned artist Olafur Eliasson. Centrally located in Reykjavík on the harbours edge, the space is at the very heart of the city and just a few minutes walk from its top hotels, museums, bars and restaurants.

Meanwhile, Sonar Stockholm will take place on February 14 & 15 2014 in Münchenbryggeriet, – in the city centre’s Södermalm district. The festival will run on both days between
7pm – 3am presenting 30 live and dj performances (from both Swedish and international artists) on 3 stages: SonarClub, SonarDôme (presented by Red Bull Music Academy) and SonarLab.
