Secret Solstice, the world’s most unique music festival held in Reykjavik, Iceland over the summer solstice during 96 hours of continuous sunlight, have announced that super early-bird tickets are on sale for their fifth edition taking place June 21-24, 2018. After a hugely successful festival in 2017 which drew a crowd of 18,000 and saw the likes of the Foo Fighters, The Prodigy, Rick Ross, Big Sean, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Richard Ashcroft, Chaka Khan, Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler and Dubfire headline, 2018’s lineup promises to be their biggest yet.
In 2017, Secret Solstice set the bar high expanding their site at the Laugardalur Valley and building the biggest music stage ever in Iceland. Phenomenal side events including the Midnight Boat Party, The Lava Tunnel, and Into The Glacier delivered once-in-a-lifetime experiences and next year will see the release of even more exciting events to mark their fifth anniversary.
Also premiering alongside super early-bird tickets is the Secret Solstice 2017 Official After Movie. Capturing the festival’s highlights, fans can relive the experience on the Secret Solstice website and on their social channels.
Past editions of Secret Solstice have featured Radiohead, Wu-Tang Clan, Die Antwoord, and The Deftones as well as dance music takeovers from Hot Creations, Anjunadeep, The Warehouse Project, SCI+TEC, Kaoz Theory and many more. By combining a high caliber of music talent alongside side events that showcase the incredible Icelandic landscape, Secret Solstice have created a not-to-be-missed festival experience in one of the most breathtaking corners of the world.
