Glasgow native KC Lights brings his remix of Vandelux “Bright Lights,” out now via Ego Music. KC Light’s rendition possesses a powerful string section, along with a solid bassline, that evolves into an energy packed dance-floor anthem.
Twenty-five year-old Glaswegian DJ, musician, and producer KC Lights, has been pushing his creative limits in the studio.. Not long after he finished school in 2012 with a degree in music he began to make a name for himself with his fresh melodic and driving take on house music. KC Lights stacked his growing audience with original records coming out on Hervé’s ‘Cheap Thrills’ imprint. “Lose It All” gained support from house music heavyweights Rudimental, MK and Danny Howard, while his next record “No No No” became the definitive Ibiza Anthem of 2015. “No No No” hit #3 on the BBC R1 Dance Charts, Top 10 on Shazam UK Dance, and was also included on Annie Mac’s annual AMP compilation.
Vandelux is the alter-ego of Evan White – jazz drummer, guitarist and pianist from Vancouver Canada. His interest in electronic music developed in high school after piecing together a makeshift recording studio from garage sale audio equipment and a hacked version of Fruityloops Pro. After years of closet compositions Evan began sharing his music with the world in 2016 crossing multiple genres and showing no signs of slowing down. Past and current collaborations include My Bear Mountain THEY. and Marc7 of Jurassic 5. His style has been compared to the likes of Chet Faker Bob Moses RJD2 Big Wild and Pretty Lights.
