Amsterdam Dance Event ’16 with Dengue Dengue Dengue, Branko, Batuk, and More October 22nd @ Paradiso Noord
2016 marks Enchufada’s 10th anniversary, a full decade in which Europe’s most tropical label has made its hometown of Lisbon the epicenter of the global club music explosion. With such an important milestone to celebrate, it’s only natural that the label joined forces with world renowned electronic music conference and festival Amsterdam Dance Event, and Amsterdam’s number one global club music night Ticket To The Tropics, to bring their uniquely tropical vision of dance music to the Dutch capital.
The amazing lineup includes the return to Amsterdam of Enchufada mainstays Dengue Dengue Dengue, the Peruvian audiovisual duo who will be presenting their critically acclaimed new album Siete Raíces. The label night will also see the vinyl edition of the ground breaking Siete Raíces LP on sale for the first time, and fans can also find it available at select record stores and the Enchufada Bandcamp page.
Alongside the Peruvian duo will be Enchufada label head Branko, whose celebrated 2015 solo debut album ATLAS has confirmed his place on top of the global club music food chain, making it no surprise that M.I.A. recently recruited him for her new album AIM. The lineup is further complemented by South African supergroup Batuk, the new project that brings together Spoek Mathambo, Aero Manyelo and Manteiga, who are also presenting their new album Musica da Terra, Lisbon global club rising star Rastronaut whose new Enchufada EP ‘Furnas’ has recently hit digital stores, Amsterdam tropical frontrunners Kuenta i Tambu, presenting their highly energetic and colorful live show, and local DJ and producer GIRLS. All in all, the Enchufada label night will be bringing together some of the finest acts from all across the global club music spectrum.
The Enchufada Label Night will take over Paradiso Noord on October 22nd. Find Tickets HERE.
