Electric Zoo returns to Randall’s Island this Friday, celebrating “The Big 10.” That’s 10 years of bringing incredible music, good vibes, and the fabulous people of New York City together for a final send-off to summer.

While the festival has been mostly mum regarding stage themes and production, we’re sure that this year will be bigger than ever. Set times have been officially released, and you can get all the info you need to know on the app.

If you’re not sure where to begin, the WOTN staff put together some of the acts we’re most excited to see this weekend. From dubstep to house, there’s something for everyone.

FRIDAY PICKS:

Gramatik: 8:15 – 9:30PM @ Hilltop

If you haven’t seen Gramatik before, the grand master of electrofunk will be making a not-to-be-missed appearance on Randall’s Island this weekend. Expect big smiles, groovy beats, and live instrumentation.

G Jones: 7:00 – 8:00PM @ Hilltop

As a frequent collaborator to the likes of Bassnectar and DJ Shadow, G Jones is sure to deliver an eclectic set that has been described as “entering the twilight zone”. Be prepared for bass-heavy beats, complex melodies, and letting the music take you.

Redlight: 5:30 – 6:45PM @ Sunday School

Get ready for a heart-pumping, sweaty good time. Raised on 90s pioneers and the Bristol electronic scene, Redlight captures the spirit of great house music while incorporating genre-bending sounds and samples.

Other notables on Friday: Herobust (Hilltop), Kill the Noise (Riverside), AC Slater (Sunday School), San Holo (Mainstage), and Anna Lunoe (Sunday School).

SATURDAY PICKS:

REZZ: 6:45 – 7:45PM @ Mainstage

The list would not be complete without one of the reigning queens of the weekend. Rezz’s sets are every bit as future forward as they are nostalgic, and the result is both electrifying and completely satisfying.

Zeds Dead: 8:15 – 9:30PM @ Hilltop

The Canadian duo has been honing their craft on festival stages for the better part of a decade. While their music continues to be an innovative mix of electronic genres, I’m most excited to hear the dubstep classics I overplayed in college.

12th Planet B2B Doctor P: 5:45 – 7:00PM @ Riverside

Prepare for a heavy dose of dubstep and DNB. 12th Planet and Doctor P are an electrifying mix when they play together, and bonus points for being my first ever “edm” show at Webster Hall back in 2010.

Other notables on Saturday: Martin Garrix (Mainstage), MIJA (Hilltop), Party Favor (Mainstage), Space Jesus (Riverside), Destructo and Wax Motif (both Sunday School).

SUNDAY PICKS:

HYTE Stage: All day @ Sunday School

We honestly couldn’t pick just one artist playing the HYTE stage on Sunday, so we suggest spending a good amount of your day soaking up some of the world’s best techno and tech-house. Chris Liebing going back-to-back with Dubfire (8 – 11pm) will ignite the deepest, darkest part of your soul.

Luna Park (Kofman b2b Cartel Twins): 5:30 – 7:00PM @ Treehouse

Since all three artists call Coney Island home, it’s no surprise they’ve decided to take on Luna Park as a collective name. Local heroes, Output regulars, and vinyl aficionados –  expect to get your fill of deep house with New York attitude.

You can still buy a few select tickets online. See you there!
