Coinciding with the release of his single “Piece of Me” with Becky Hill, which has been smashing BBC Radio1 airwaves, MK announces the relaunch of his iconic label AREA10 with a spring tour AREA10: The Warm Up Sessions.
Starting off the first leg with 20+ dates worldwide, The Warm Up
Sessions will take the house music master across North America and
Europe over the next few months. Noted stops see MK returning to a few
familiar places, back and better than ever at various festivals and
residencies including We Are FSTVL in the UK, Movement Festival in
Detroit, and six AREA10 takeovers at Pacha in Ibiza.
Known
for his catchy hooks, instantly recognizable melodies and numerous
hits, the producer has become one of the elite in the Shazam charts over
the past few years. With his remix of Storm Queen’s “Look Right
Through” hitting #1 on the UK singles chart and his remix of Wankelmut
& Emma Louise’s “My Head Is A Jungle” earning major mainstream
success, counted as one of the more influential and prolific
DJ/producers in the game. MK has left his signature mark on a plethora
of artists, including Lana Del Rey, Sam Smith, Hot Natured, Rudimental,
RÜFÜS DU SOL, Pet Shop Boys, Ellie Goulding, and Pharrell, to name but a
few. With the success of “Piece of Me” and a forthcoming artist album
on the way, it’s clear that MK’s Warm Up Sessions are another indicator
of what’s to come in 2016.
