Watergate Berlin – Wednesday, 6th February
If someone has not heard of him, he missed something. Carlo comes from the sun-drenched Malaga and has brought the joy to Berlin. You can clearly hear that on his releases on Neovinyl, Best friends and Suol. Funky House music to fool. Glorious. Support comes from young climbers Turkish and Black Loops from the Catz’n’Dogz label “Pets Recordings”, who dive the floor into the disco light in the morning. Tickets and info, HERE.
Watergate Berlin – Thursday, 7th February
Sven Dohse is and remains a luminous figure in the night sky. Hardly a club in which he has not been booked since the fall of the Wall. Spring is just about to shave its shoulders somewhere; his next closing at the end of the Nation of Gondwana is already set. Dohse is still one of the most charismatic Dj’s in the umpteenth year and a mentor to countless crowd pleasers of the next genre. At this point, we probably do not have to introduce anyone to David Dorad anymore. Between the Dj sets of the two old Berlin heroes, there is still a live act of Amount, one half of the popular URSL combo Soukie & Windish. Tickets and info, HERE.

The RISE events have been an integral part of the Watergate program for over 3 years. It features Dj’s, producers and live acts who in one way or another are related to Africa. Be it because they live there, work together with local artists or feel inspired by the sound. This includes Andhim, who landed last year’s remix of Armonica’s “Ngeke” with South African singer Toshi and had the Afrohouse charts firmly in her hands. Watergate Berlin – Saturday, 9th February
The next glittering star from the Drumcode universe, which we welcome (warmly) to our monthly Berlin-based TRY Land, flew in extra for us from Paris: PAUL RITCH has been inspiring the international techno community since 2007 with numerous releases on SCI + TEC, Saved, Cocoon, Soma, Bpitch and just Drumcode. In 2008 he laid out his own label Quartz Rec., To which Okain, Paco Osuna, Nic Fanciulli, Thomas Muller, Barem, Carlo Lio and Dubfire have immortalized. Not only is THE REASON Y excited about what he will do to control the crowd under the LED sky.
While one floor down, “on the water”, one of the last year’s cleaners – A.D.H.S. – with its contagious groundbreaking dance sounds from early in the morning the sun will rise several times. NICORUS B2B SHLOMSEN paves the way to the big “finale” and premieres in Watergate: Copenhagen’s finest Producer Import KANT and lovely GWEN WAYNE from Hamburg!
