Asia’s Largest Festival at Sea, IT’S THE SHIP 2019 is pleased to announce Vietnamese DJ Duo – Đỗ Thế Anh & Võ Văn Hoàng Hiệp as the winners of its annual Deck Selecta competition.
An annual initiative to support the community for Asia’s Largest Festival at Sea, IT’S THE SHIP’s Deck Selecta competition brought together undiscovered talents from around the world, both novice turntablists and mix maestros, to put their mixing talents to the test.
This year’s winning participant, Vietnamese DJ Duo – Đỗ Thế Anh & Võ Văn Hoàng Hiệp, received the most votes from shipmates all over the world as they voted for their favorite mixtape among the top three shortlisted by IT’S THE SHIP. Đỗ Thế Anh & Võ Văn Hoàng Hiệp will be invited to play onboard the legendary festival alongside world-class artists.
Double Noize hails from Vietnam and the love of electronic music brought Đỗ Thế Anh and Võ Văn Hoàng Hiệp together on this journey to produce house and trap/future bass tracks. The duo sets themselves apart from other artistes by combining electronic music with Vietnamese traditional instrumental sounds.
Now the duo will be showcasing their creativity and technical skills alongside IT’S THE SHIP’s world-class DJs on a thrilling, uninterrupted 3D2N shipcation aboard the award-winning Genting Dream – IT’S THE SHIP Singapore from the 13th to 15th November this year.
