Following three smashing Dim Mak releases in 2014, Dutch DJ/producer Tony Junior kicks off 2015 with his electro knockout “Suckerpunch.”

Menacing synth stabs intertwine with anthemic chord progressions and carnal, bass-heavy drum patterns to create this gut-busting festival fuel inspired by Tony’s own experience getting suckerpunched by a girl as a child.

Listen to the cheeky new song based on a real “Suckerpunch”:

Tony Junior’s career took off in 2010 with “Loesje,” and his follow-up tracks “Anigav” and remix of “Feeling Kinda Strange” charted on Beatport and were supported by some of the biggest names in electronic music. This was quickly followed by a multitude of release on Spinnin’ Records, and eventually lead to his collaboration with Carnage, “Michael Jordan” which became a signature festival record in 2013 and was a mainstay in the top 10 of Beatport’s Electro House chart.

Reminisce to “Michael Jordan” here:

Following this, Tony was invited to spin with Steve Aoki and Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello during their finale set at 2013’s Mysteryland festival, as well as on Dim Mak’s stage at Tomorrowland 2014. He also continued his top-drawer studio work in 2014, releasing collaborations like “Jump Around” with Marnik on DOORN Recordings and “Break The House” with Borgeous on Spinnin’ Records, both of which peaked in the top 40 of Beatport’s Electro House chart.

Expect plenty more suckerpunches from Tony in 2015.
