option4 Releases “The Vicious Rule Of The Safah” On Sweat It Out
Earlier this month, producer option4 unveiled his forthcoming EP due early next year on Sweat It Out!, alongside its premier single “The Rise of the Catlord.” The announcement also came with the debut of multi-media accompaniment, an innovative and graphic novel-inspired comic series, with art created by Treasure Fingers, to accompany each single.
With the release of “The Vicious Rule of the Safah,” the second single off the EP and the continuation of the comic book saga. A deep and textural house cut, “The Vicious Rule of the Safah” is both edgy and seductive in its complexity, with pulsating bass and deep tones.
Denver-based Brennen Bryarly, otherwise known as option4, has quickly gained a reputation for creating sonically textured and complex house music since his start in 2013. Helping to cultivate a thriving dance music scene within in his community, Bryarly founded the collective known as The Hundred in 2011, which brings hundreds of events a year to the Denver club circuit. On a production tip, Bryarly saw the release of his breakout track “Love Like No Other” in 2014 on Nervous, and has since remixed records for artists including Two Door Cinema Club, Autograf, Panama Wedding and more. The fall sees his forthcoming US tour, in addition to his touring festival Cloak & Dagger.
