Beginning back in December of last year, MOGUAI has been taking the supreme style and finesse of his live shows to the biggest and best electronic music haunts to be found across North America on his mammoth “Punx Up the Volume” tour. With a number of scintillating shows under his belt already, he’s been providing the epic soundtrack for swathes of avid music lovers to get down to. Fans were treated to an especially memorable performance in the heart of Manhattan where the mix maestro incorporated live elements into his DJ set. Switching into his Ableton setup allows for an extra dimension and added depth in his show, culminating in a colossal sound that was instantly lapped up by the eager crowds in front of him. Pounding bass set agaisnt a mesmerizing visual display completed the show and it was a night that surely won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
Now an integral part to any MOGUAI set, his collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – ‘Mammoth’ – was voted ‘Track Of The Year’ at the 2014 Beatport Awards. With over 25 million YouTube views and a gold certification for its Beatport sales, the latest accolade is fully deserved for the song that topped the chart for over a month during one of dance music’s busiest periods around the Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week. As the tour dates continue to come thick and fast, the madness of this year’s music week draws ever closer.
