As summertime approaches, it’s only fitting that we summon it with a sizzling season opener like LH4L’s “Bring Dat.”
The French producer doesn’t disappoint with his signature booming bass and juke-inspired
sound for a sonically explosive New Noise debut, treating us to a jive
of thundering drum kicks, mutilated vocals and echoing sirens.
LH4L (aka L’homme aux 4 lettres) comes thru DIM MAK as a
solo artist, though he’s arguably best known as one-half of the
Parisian collective Point Point. Lauded for their uniquely futuristic sound and their yearly Filet Mignon
compilations, LH4L’s independent alias allows him to pack a more
adrenalized punch with his music. Check out LH4L’s SoundCloud below and see for yourselves. His profile boasts a showcase
of next level originals, remixes, collabs and radio mixes. One of his
most popular originals, at 169K plays “Bounce Beaucoup” trails just behind the 198K plays received on his wildly sought-out rework of Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now.” Très bon, especially
considering the former competes with the latter’s insurmountable
audience of Beliebers. LH4L made a splash elsewhere in the electronic
spectrum with his stunning transformation of Valentino Khan’s “Deep Down Low.”
The official remix maintains the original’s integrity (and wubs) and
underscores a resounding grittiness that earned it a 2+ week spot on the
Beatport Electronica chart.
