Last Friday (Mar. 21), GRAMMY Award-winning artist Afrojack took to the DJ booth at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino for the first time and put on a set guests would never forget.
Arriving around 12:30 a.m., Afrojack was escorted to the main stage, where the packed nightclub eagerly awaited his debut. About an hour later, the cheering died down as fans hushed to hear the first moments of the Dutch sensation’s set. The global icon kept the crowd mesmerized not only with his beats, but with his special surprises–including the appearance of two male contortionists who wowed the crowd with their jaw-dropping moves, a first for Hakkasan Nightclub.
With the energy in the room high and fans on their feet dancing and singing throughout the night, the turntable superstar’s kick off was surely celebrated. As his set was in full party mode, a dozen Hakkasan Nightclub’s stunning model cocktail waitresses joined him in the DJ booth and presented him with a large bottle of champagne. Eager to share this moment with his fans, Afrojack jumped atop the DJ booth, uncorked the bottle and showered the crowd.
Adding to the first-of-its kind experience, Hakkasan Nightclub unveiled two new LED screens on the suspended performance stage, displaying intricate graphics and some of the artist’s lyrics, further mesmerizing the crowd.
