Los AngelesInsomniac, the nation’s leading live event production company, is excited to announce three new full-time additions to its team of professionals: Alyxzander Bear as director of production, Brian Parisi as senior vice president of finance and Maren Steiner as director of health & safety.

As we continue to expand all areas of our business, their knowledge and passion will be a large part of our ongoing success.”

Alyxzander Bear has already spent eight years working with the Insomniac family as an independent contractor, serving as director of production for previous editions of Nocturnal Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland and the Electric Daisy Carnival. He brings to the company a long and storied career in live event production, having worked closely with dozens of domestic and international organizations to produce hundreds of events worldwide. He has served as communications coordinator for the Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four, the Academy Awards and the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. As an event coordinator, he has overseen the California State Fair, the PGA TOUR Skins Game and the Rolling Stones’ famous concert at Dodger Stadium. Team Full Contact, the national karate team he founded, has produced 115 world champions, and he holds black belts in seven different martial arts disciplines.

As vice president of corporate and financial planning analysis, Parisi served as a key member of Live Nation’s due diligence team during the early phases of their creative partnership with Insomniac. During his time at Live Nation, he developed and managed the entertainment company’s global annual budgets, while providing key financial and operational analysis. Prior to this, Parisi spent three years as executive director of financial planning & analysis at Warner Brothers Entertainment. Parisi holds an MBA from the University of Southern California’s prestigious Marshall School of Business and has more than 20 years of experience in the Entertainment and Technology industries.

Maren Steiner has unofficially held the position of health & safety director since 2011, and brings more than a decade of medical and risk management experience to Insomniac. In addition to servicing Electric Daisy Carnivals in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Puerto Rico and Orlando, Steiner has worked and planned medical teams for events such as the BET Awards, Paid Dues Festival and the Red Bull Soap Box Races. Since 2006, Steiner has served as medical coordinator for CBS Studios, one of the largest studio lots in Los Angeles, and has owned and operated her own medical services and management company, Emergency-1 Response Inc, since 2003. In her spare time, Steiner is a proud member of the Universal City Emergency Response Team, responding to 911 calls for fire, medical and hazardous materials emergencies.
