Global Dance unveiled details for an immersive new experience for Global Dance Festival’s (GDF) fifteenth anniversary on July 21-22, 2017, which marks its first year in a new home. Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be transformed into a whole world for attendees to explore including four new themed stages and several other features debuting this year.
Each area of the festival will be reimagined as a unique landscape or natural phenomenon that will transport festival-goers to remote locations across the globe. Encounter the diverse sounds of the biggest names alongside undiscovered talent within the disparate terrain found at one of the four unique stages that will debut at this year’s event: GLOBAL SUMMIT, NORTHERN LIGHTS, TUNDRA and THE AMAZON: SILENT DISCO. The artist lineup by stage is included below.
Festival-goers will be able to escape the music and enjoy several new features debuting at GDF this year, including the indoor arcade area, the ARCAVE; gushing water for attendees to cool off and get soaked at GEYSER UNDERPASS; curated installations at DRAGONFLY ART PARK; several thrilling carnival rides including a massive Ferris Wheel and much more. Additionally, GDF is partnering with ten Denver-based food trucks to offer an assortment of gourmet dishes at FOOD TRUCK LANE.
GDF has also announced GLOBAL WEEK, spanning July 20-23, 2017. Global Week will include pre-parties, after-parties and recovery parties taking place throughout Denver at the following venues: Beta Nightclub, The Church Nightclub, Club Vinyl, NAVIV Hotel, Prive at Dorchester and Viewhouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop. Specific details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
