We’re just two weeks away from “Electric Adventure 2013” – one of dance music’s most unique events combining dance music’s finest talent with the thrill of an amusement park. After a successful inaugural campaign in 2012, Electric Adventure has expanded to two days and will take place the weekend of Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. For those of you who’ve been living under a rock, its close in proximity to both NYC and Philadelphia 🙂
During the day “Electric Adventure” attendees will find themselves riding roller coasters and the latest attractions of Six Flags Great Adventure alongside their favorite DJs, while dancing into the evening to the most cutting edge music and live production from Area Event. In 2012 Dada Life famously took on the legendary Kingda Ka rollercoaster with their fans (check out the below photo) and we have some great fan/artist experiences planned for this year as well!
The lineup for Electric Adventure 2013 is huge and represents multiple dance music genres. Scheduled to perform on Saturday, August 3rd are Destroid (live – featuring Excision, Downlink and KJ Sawa), Deorro, Dillon Francis, DJ Bl3nd, Figure, Flosstradamus, GTA and Liquid Todd. Manning the decks (and front row of the Kingda Ka) on Sunday, August 4th are 12th Planet, Bare Noize, Danny Avila, Doctor P, Morgan Page, Seven Lions and Zeds Dead.
As a sign of its commitment to dance music and the growth of “Electric Adventure,” Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has not only expanded the festival to two days, but also for the first time in history, will keep the park open after hours on consecutive nights solely for “Electric Adventure” attendees. This means that festival goers will have the music and the park all to themselves. Additionally, Six Flags Great Adventure will plug into “Electric Adventure” meaning that dance music will be pumped throughout the entire amusement park!
