Elderbrook Debuts New Single
“Closer” Out August 12th via Kobalt
Following the release of his latest single “Go,” Elderbrook debuts his seductive new single “Closer,” out August 12th on Kobalt. “Closer” incorporates aspects of folk, gospel and blues with an electronic four-to-the-floor style production, making for a hypnotic and genre-bending release.
Singer, songwriter, producer and classically trained multi-instrumentalist Elderbrook has cemented his status as an artist to watch. Last year saw the release of his debut EP Simmer Down on acclaimed label Black Butter, as well as his follow-up release, Travel Slow, both of which ended up with a #1 slot on HypeMachine. The musician also collaborated with German production duo Andhim on the Shazam-charting “How Many Times,” which amassed over one million online streams and garnered heavy praise from BBC Radio 1, being labeled as Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune.’ Following his recent foray with RÜFÜS DÜ SOL on their BLOOM Tour, this fall sees Elderbrook back on the road, joining Gorgon City for their European run of dates, as well as stateside appearances with Hayden James of Future Classic.
