Berlin-based producer and label founder Einmusik returns to Purified Records with ‘Do You Think Of Me’, a collaboration with UK vocalist Shayan that leans into the emotional depth and melodic precision that have defined his career for over two decades.

Built around Shayan’s intimate topline, the record unfolds with a sense of restraint and control, evolving from delicate atmospheres into a driving, late-night groove. Rather than chasing impact, the track holds tension, balancing introspection with a subtle, but undeniable club energy.

Speaking about the release, Einmusik mentioned:

“I produced this song during a period of big changes in my life, filled with many endings and many new beginnings. It was a very exciting moment when I first heard Shayan’s lyrics – she put into words exactly what I had been expressing with my instruments.”

On remix duties, Joachim Pastor, a key figure in the French melodic techno movement and known for his orchestral, cinematic approach, delivers a reinterpretation that shifts the track into a more expansive and immersive space. Layering textures and harmonics, his version extends the emotional narrative of the original while maintaining its core identity.

Einmusik, the solo project of Berlin-based producer Samuel Kindermann, is a cornerstone of melodic techno and house music. Born in the late 70s, Einmusik’s early influences – spanning Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk and Drum ‘n’ Bass – shaped his emotive, atmospheric sound. Since his 2003 debut ‘Weekender’, he has crafted a career defined by intricate melodies and immersive soundscapes, with key releases like ‘Jittery Heritage’ and albums ‘5 A.M’ and ‘Serenade’. In 2008, he launched his imprint Einmusika Recordings, a Berlin label fostering both new and established artists. Renowned for his dynamic live performances, his 2019 Cercle Stream from Preikestolen, Norway, has amassed over 15 million views. His remix of Tinlicker’s ‘Starchaser’ in 2024, and original tracks ‘Let Me Out’ and ‘Hypnotized’ showcase his evolving artistry and command of mood-driven techno. With over two decades in the game, he remains a vital figure in electronic music.

Singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, producer: Shayan does it all. Hailing from Tottenham, North London, Shayan’s entry into the music scene began in 2022 through her work creating Liilz’s ‘Glad You Came’, amassing over 65 million streams and reaching number 15 in the U.K. Top 20. Since then, she has released Toxic Game (The Way We Are) and Crave Your Love on Perfect Havoc, attracting a worldwide following and national and international radio play. Shayan’s pen game and vocal versatility paved the way for the anthem ‘In My Head’, featuring one of dance’s titans Paul Woolford and viral sensations LF System, dubbed the hottest record by Radio 1, Capital and Kiss FM. Shayan’s eclectic pen game and versatile vocal style has paved the way for her to write and topline across a variety of genres for artists across the world, spanning from house and hip-hop to pop and drill.

A pioneer of the French melodic techno scene, Joachim Pastor first emerged under the Hungry Music banner alongside NTO and Worakls. He quickly made a name for himself as a renowned electronic music producer, known for a distinctive artistic style: classical, orchestral, and cinematic in its harmonic arrangements, yet precise and direct in its melodies. In 2020, he signed with electronic music powerhouse Armada Music and released his debut album ‘Greater Message’. The following year, he returned with several singles and remixes, before composing the original soundtrack for the documentary ‘The Final Season’, which chronicles the final season of multiple rally world champion Sébastien Ogier. In 2023, Joachim Pastor released ‘Adrenogate’, a four-track EP crafted for festival stages, followed by ‘Blank Page’, a more introspective single. Now, Joachim Pastor is opening a new chapter and diving into a digital journey. He unveils his new album ‘Phantomgrid’ at the end of 2025. With over one million monthly listeners, Joachim Pastor performs across the globe, with appearances at major festivals such as Dour, Tomorrowland, Paléo, Solidays, and Delta Festival.

The release artwork, captured by Daniel Lepik, mirrors the EP’s dynamic and impactful energy. Waves collide against rugged rock formations in a moment of controlled chaos, reflecting the push and pull at the heart of the music: tension and release, fragility and force, stillness and movement.
