This past June Insomniac held their 18th annual Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and welcomed a sold-out crowd of more than 400,000 fans throughout the three-day festival. The 1,000-acre complex was transformed into an audiovisual adventure with over 500 musical acts, theatrical performers, full-scale carnival rides, elaborate décor, state-of-the-art lighting and sound production, pyrotechnics and innovative stage designs along with nightly firework displays.
Though the mere enjoyment of an Electric Daisy Carnival serves any community, since the festival’s move to Las Vegas in 2011, Insomniac has donated a whopping $325,000 to local and regional organizations as part of their Charitable Giving Initiative.
Today, Insomniac’s CEO Pasquale Rotella will present to the Las Vegas community $90,000 of the funds raised at EDC Las Vegas. This year the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, the Emergency Medicine Resident Research Fund and the Injured Police Officers Fund will each receive a donation of $30,000.
