Electric Daisy Carnival, Mexico was more than just an amazing festival – it broke records! With over 80,000 fans filling the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez over two days, EDC Mexico has officially become the largest dance music festival in Mexico’s history!

On day two, more than 50 emerging and globally recognized musical acts performed across four stages including the new Mayan Warrior Art Car, which featured breathtaking flame effects and vivid LED lighting. The art car set the stage for Insomniac’s Discovery Project winners as the eight up-and-coming artists, all native to Mexico, showcased their sounds for energetic festival-goers.

Festival sponsors, Dos Equis, created a one-of-kind playground experience for fans, which included swings and two-story slides, which descended into a large pool of colorful plastic balls below.

With its large grassy fields, 6 carnival rides, circus clowns and confetti showering over the crowd, EDC Mexico was truly an experience we will always remember.

Next stop On the Road to EDC Las Vegas will be the East Coast for the 3rd annual EDC New York at MetLife Stadium, May 24-25, 2014! We hope to see you there.
