The first ever Electric Daisy Carnival outside the good ol’ US of A had a successful international debut in merry old England this past weekend. Insomniac events along with Cream & Live Nation combined its collective might to bring EDC across the pond. The sold out event brought 50,000 EDM fans to Olympic park, who were indulged with an A-list line up (Alesso, Hardwell, Steve Angello, Avicii & Tiesto) and productions rarely seen in the UK. While nothing can ever compare to its flagship EDC Las Vegas, Insomniac effectively provided British dance music fans a taste of how its done in America.
Other than a few glitches, the festival was a hit amongst fans who desired for another day.
The ever present Lollipop girls and zombie clowns wandered the grounds. As a 100-foot lit electric daisy watched over the mainstage, confetti rained on the delighted crowd.
