This pas Monday, the eclectic Dutch producer/DJ, Don Diablo, released his new club single, “Got Me Thinkin’” with CID, via Steve Angello’s X label. Don has been working non-stop, creating his forthcoming “Hexagon” visual show and smashing the clubs with tracks like “Starlight,” “Prototype” and “Origins.” Pete Tong premiered no less than six of his tracks this year and with a fresh residency in Las Vegas super club, The Light, plus the theme song for the new Batman game in his pocket, Don Diablo is definitely a name to watch for 2014. Initially premiered in Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection, Don Diablo & CID’s “Got Me Thinkin’” has gained early support from heavy hitters like A-Trak, Tiesto, Benny Benassi, Erick Morillo, and Laidback Luke, amongst others. The track itself is simple and edgy, with a vocal sample dropping into a catchy kick-driven bassline sequence with percussive accents and a fresh dynamic. “Got Me Thinkin’” is a perfect club track with a twist.
