Forged by a group of passionately creative Californians, the Desert Hearts movement is rooted in the ideals of Burning Man and soundtracked by the tones of the underground. Led by Mikey Lion, Desert Hearts is a collaboration between San Diego based DJs Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Lion’s younger brother, Porkchop, along with the creative mind of Christopher Kristoff. This slideshow requires JavaScript.
Following a sold out round of their notorious spring festival, they’ve been smashing their International Summer Tour. So far they’ve already hit up Medellin’s Salon Amador, Ecuador’s Lost Beach Club, Los Angeles’s Exchange, as well as a slew of festivals like Oregon’s WTFest, Colorado’s Sonic Bloom, and Puerto Rico’s Lost In Paradise, and will touch down in Brooklyn this weekend, culminating at the once in a lifetime Oregon Eclipse.
This year’s Desert Hearts Summer tour continues the young brand’s rise at a pace far beyond its years, with its mojave conception still on the soles of its follower’s dust-ridden boots. What began as a renegade party between friends has evolved into a reigning force on the global dance music scene and the beating heart of a movement. ‘House, Techno, Love – We Are All Desert Hearts’.Desert Hearts Summer 2017 Tickets: http://bit.ly/2fQ6g9xListen to Holt Blackheath’s Kick Back EP via Desert Hearts Records: http://bit.ly/2p7G427
