Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe are two music producers from Hamburg who became known with different projects and live acts. The most popular and successful of them has taken them around the globe several times in recent years: Extrawelt. In 2005 James Holden released his “Soopertrack” on his label “Border Community.” The EP sold over 20,000 copies in just a few weeks. Four successful albums followed on Cocoon, the latest, “Unknown”, just last year. Since signing to Watergate Agency a few months ago, Extrawelt are in good hands. August 16th, they play live at Watergate club on the Spree. With them: Karotte, Tobi Neumann, Marco Resmann and Sasse. Departure!

Midsummer temperatures and a strong female line up will be enchanting club-goers this Saturday, August 17th. Every Friday, you can listen to Radio Eins, where Anja Schneider features her favorite tracks every Friday on her show “Club Room.” Thanks to her busy schedule, she can no longer be heard quite as often in Berlin’s clubs; her gigs at Watergate are therefore always a highlight. Gracing Watergate Club’s billing on Saturday night, Cassy, currently setting new accents with her label “Kwench.” She constantly captivates with her wide-ranging output between catchy songs and techno underground. Kristin Velvet, Stassy & Wilck and INSTANT’s live act will keep the water floor sizzling.
