RHODES vs Felix Jaehn “Your Soul (Holding On)” Out Now
German platinum-selling DJ & Producer Felix Jaehn and British singer/songwriter RHODES are ready to present the stunning new single “Your Soul (Holding On),” out now via B1 Recordings | Sony Music. Felix Jaehn’s blissful reimagining of RHODES’ single “Your Soul” takes the soaring ballad and injects an up-tempo pulsating groove to his version. The track is laden with playful piano chords and throbbing club rhythms bound together by RHODES’ tender vocal.
“Your Soul (Holding On)” follows the success of notable remixes and original productions from Felix, including high-profile singles “Can’t Go Home” with Steve Aoki & Adam Lambert and “Ain’t Nobody” feat. Jasmine Thompson, which has collectively amassed over 366 million Spotify streams to date. Meanwhile, it was his remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader” which catapulted the German DJ into the spotlight. His summery rework topped the US Billboard Charts – Felix is the first German artist to top the US Billboard Charts since 1989, it also reached #1 in over 50 countries, received platinum status in more than 23 countries and received over 700 million Spotify Streams.
RHODES’ stripped-back and brooding sound has been championed by the likes of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Greg James and Huw Stevens to name a few. Since releasing the original version of “Your Soul” which garnered over 2 million Spotify plays and his debut album “Wishes,” RHODES has gone on to sell out two headline tours, performed at Glastonbury, Wilderness Festival and Secret Garden Party, as well as playing an acoustic set at Burberry’s AW14 womenswear show during London Fashion Week.
