Global, platinum-selling collective, Rudimental, have today unveiled the striking video to accompany their gold-selling single Sun Comes Up” feat. James Arthur. Directed by Amos LeBlanc, the video was recently shot in South Africa amongst a plethora of stunningly beautiful vast sands, married with the backdrop of a gorgeous sunset.

Taken from the band’s forthcoming third album (currently in the works), has racked up over 55 million global streams since its release. The track marked the first musical output from the BRIT Award-winning group this year, released through the band’s own subsidiary label Major Toms (to which they signed platinum-selling artist Anne-Marie in 2014) in partnership with Big Beat Records in the US. “Sun Comes Up” is a touching glimpse into how they’ve grown, both as individuals and as a band, and the various struggles they have been through to overcome adversity to get where they are today.

To date, the genre-defying band has sold over 1.7 million albums and 11.2 million singles worldwide, as well as racked up over 250 million streams in the US alone! Rudimental’s second studio album WE THE GENERATION, was released in 2015 to rave reviews (reaching #1 and earning Gold certification in the UK) and featured the RIAA certified multi-platinum smash single “Lay It All On Me” ft. Ed Sheeran (along with a VIP Mix edit that included Vic Mensa & Big Sean). The album also featured the very last vocal recordings from the late, great Bobby Womack on the track “New Day.” “WE THE GENERATION” married an array of genres including soul, funk, drum and bass, and hip hop and followed the band’s debut album Home. That album, also released to critical acclaim in 2013, earned the group a Mercury Prize nomination and a BRIT Award.

In 2015, Rudimental created their very own UK festival, Wild Life, which won ‘Best New Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards and which, earlier this month, they hosted for the 3rd straight year.  Also in June, the boys kicked off a weekly Ibiza residency which will find them at Amnesia Ibiza every Tuesday this summer.
