GRAMMY-nominated producer ZHU has unveiled a brand new single “GENERATIONWHY” – listen HERE. The song was first debuted in ZHU’s closing set in the Sahara Tent at this year’s Coachella Music Festival and officially premiered today via The FADER, who call it a “track that is all good vibes, featuring warmly diffused synths, a gentle disco backbone, and a free-spirited vibe that is contagious.”

“GENERATIONWHY” is off of ZHU’s highly-anticipated debut album due out this summer on Columbia Records.

Dubbed “one of the most musically sophisticated of the current generation of dance music producers” by The New York Times, ZHU is set to perform at various U.S. music festivals this summer including Lollapalooza in Chicago, Bumbershoot in Seattle, and Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas. ZHU recently wrapped up his ‘Neon City’ debut headlining tour where he performed 18 shows in major markets across the U.S., including 2 sold-out shows at NYC’s Terminal 5.

ZHU’s previous single “Working For It” featuring Skrillex and THEY., which is part of the critically acclaimed Genesis Series, is approaching 100M total digital streams and featured a stellar cast of collaborators including AlunaGeorge, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Daniel Johns, A-Trak, Gallant and many more.
