Eleatics Records VA – Terra Incognita Vol. 3 (ELS034)
Beginning with Habischman – the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire’s SCI+TEC and Get Physical. ‘Aperture’ comes as a great opener, a conjunction of a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, whose music was recently released via Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, definitely knows how to make the synthesizers breathe. His ‘Overdub’ is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which as a result comes together as a great tune.
Eleatic Records: Discover Ukraine’s Vibrant Music Scene
While, US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, in Enamour’s words “a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres” perfectly describes this talented producer in his prime. ‘Pet Paradox’ is a firm track, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper ‘Matka’ next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. Eleatics closes this year’s compiliation with ‘Hong Kong Harbour’ a track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposes the main detuned synth sound, is the perfect ending and exploration of another Terra Incognita, which is now known to you.
Whilst Eleatics Records cook more, work harder and explore more lands — setting no boundaries. It’s only a matter of time for Eleatics Records to put Ukraine on the map, but we already know that.
