WORLDWIDE: STORM Festival Announces Phase I Lineups for 2017 season – Guangzhou + Nanjing

Budweiser STORM Festival today revealed two lineups from its 2017 IGNITE season – STORM Guangzhou and STORM Nanjing. The festivals will feature performances from some of electronic music’s biggest acts like Afrojack, W&W, Ummet Ozcan, Showtek, and more. Expanding this year, Budweiser STORM Festival will land in nine Chinese cities, and will be the first Chinese music festival to expand overseas, hosting a festival in Sydney, Australia.

Budweiser STORM Festival is off to a strong start in 2017, hosting this year’s first event – STORM Chengdu – with great success with performances from the likes of international superstar DJs like Showtek, Far East Movement and many more. In the last three years, Budweiser STORM Festival has emerged as the pre-eminent electronic music festival in Asia. The festival’s other-worldly back-story, signature stage designs, and its narrative-driven production has become a huge hit in Asia, transporting hundred of thousands to another world soundtracked by some of the world’s biggest electronic music artists. 2017’s production concepts will revolve around the theme of “IGNITE”.

STORM organizer A2LiVE has hosted Skrillex, David Guetta, Hardwell and many more international stars in its past, and 2017 will see STORM bringing, once again, the biggest names in electronic music to China, as well as showcasing the region’s incredible local talent. 2017 also sees the Shanghai-based promoter bringing electronic music’s largest global conference, International Music Summit (IMS) Asia Pacific to China on September 21-22, and releasing the hottest dance tracks on STORM Records, in partnership with Spinnin’ Records.The first three Budweiser STORM Festival events will see headliners like Afrojack, Alok, Far East Movement, R3HAB, Showtek, Ummet Ozcan and W&W play alongside the likes of Curbi, Dyro, Firebeatz, King Arthur, King Chain, Kura, Pep & Rach, Swanky Tunes, Tony Junior & Wiwek.
