Today The Well announces the return of Wavey on May 30th for its sophomore summer of poolside soireés, bringing its urban-chic musical oasis to the Skybar at Mondrian. Finely tuned curation has earned the party a reputation as a showcase for the sounds of the underground and fashion trends of tomorrow.
This year’s inaugural session welcomes House and Garage titan Todd Edwards, a DJ set from multi-instrumentalist DFA producer Juan MacLean, and the soul-infused 4/4 style of LA’s With You, plus local support by Thee Mike B, The Interns, and Cocodisco.
The upcoming Wavey season comes on the wake of a massive 2015 showing, playing host to seminal sets by the likes of Justin Jay, Roy Davis Jr., Sinden, and more, helping to define the party as summer’s tastemaking force to watch. Such premiere programming is woven into an intimate setting and unique vibe that remains eclectic, even as it adds to its expanding crew of poolside devotees.
