Wehbba’s remix on Andy C’s legendary RAM Records is a complete beast! The techno re-work of Culture Shock’s ‘Bunker’ is from the drum’n’bass artist’s new album.

Culture Shock – Bunker (WEHBBA Remix)

Being Brazilian, Wehbba naturally took a lot of influence from d&b growing up, so it’s a special project for him to work on. Below he’s given a quote about the remix.

“Culture Shock got in touch directly with us to invite me to remix their track Bunker, which was released on Andy C’s RAM Records in 2017. I’m not entirely sure how they became aware of my work, but I’ve been on the lookout for interesting and challenging remix projects to take on, and this one fit the bill perfectly. I’ve always been a fan of Drum n’ Bass and Jungle, from LTJ Bukem to Roni Size, from Dilinja to Ed Rush & Optical, etc….I actually got to learn how to play with vinyl, mixing drum n bass records, with the guys from the Brazilian duo Drumagik and Ramilson Maia, almost 20 years ago, and my good friend Marky has always been a big influence for me behind the decks. It was through him that I got to know about Andy C and RAM Records, and being a mostly techno focused artist I’d never imagined I could be working with them one day. Culture Shock has great sound design skills and a very characteristic sound, and when I first heard the track it was clear it would be very inspiring to work on, and I could envision exactly how a Wehbba remix of it would sound like, so it was very inspiring and refreshing to work on it.”
