German DJ Robin Schulz (one of the most streamed artists worldwide, raking in 2.7 billion plays) has just unveiled his latest sensational collaboration with the world-renowned British singer and songwriter James Blunt. Titled “OK,” the new single (out today in the US via Big Beat Records) is a beautifully melodic house anthem, featuring Blunt’s distinctive sweeping vocals alongside Schulz’seuphoric progressive build. The two artists hit it off from the start and their chemistry on the track is undeniable. “I’ve had many great nights in Ibiza clubs listening to the very talented Robin Schulz DJ’ing, so this collaboration is very exciting for me,” Blunt confirmed. The feeling is mutual, with Schulz adding, “I’m really looking forward to this release. What a great experience to work with a fantastic artist like James. This song is perfect for the summer!”

Also out today is the official music video for the track, directed by Liza Minou Morberg and starring Blunt and Schulz alongside German actress Lisa Tomaschewsky. The video pays homage to Michel Gondry’s movie “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and details a young man trying to rid himself from the memories of a past relationship, before the chorus comes in to remind him (and listeners) that in the end, “It’s gonna be OK.”

“OK (feat. James Blunt)” gives listeners a first taste of Robin Schulz’s forthcoming new album “Uncovered.” Scheduled for release on September 8th, the superstar DJ and record-breaking producer’s third studio album will feature 18 new tracks and serve as the follow-up to Schulz’sPlatinum-certified breakthrough debut “Prayer” (2014) and Gold-certified sophomore LP “Sugar” (2015).

On May 25th, James and Robin will perform the track’s international television debut on the season finale of Germany’s Next Topmodel. This summer, Schulz will headline numerous shows on the global festival circuit including Chicago’s Spring Awakening and Belgium’s Tomorrowland, as well as maintain his DJ residencies at Wynn Las Vegas and iconic Ibiza venues Pacha and Ushuaia. Following his album release in September, Schulz will embark on a German stadium tour. (Find all live dates here)

“OK” comes on the heels of Schulz’s recent extraordinary collaboration with David Guetta Shed A Light (feat. Cheat Codes).” Released late in 2016, the track has already been certified Gold and Platinum in several countries, as well as amassed over 166 million streams on Spotify alone. Schulz also found tremendous success in 2015 with “Sugar (feat. Francesco Yates),” which went on to be streamed over 600 million times worldwide.

Perhaps most impressive, his debut track – the record-setting “Prayer in C” – stands as the most successful track internationally of any German act to date. Less than three years in the making, Schulz ranks among the most sought after acts on the globe.

Multiple Grammy Award nominee and internationally acclaimed British superstar James Blunt has sold more than 20 million albums and 12.8 million singles worldwide, making him one of the most successful singers/songwriters of the twenty-first century. Blunt recently released his fifth studio album “The Afterlove” which sees him melding contemporary pop production with his classic brand of personal songcraft, equal parts heartfelt poignancy and self-deprecating wit. The chart-topping troubadour enlisted a who’s who of modern talent to join him in writing and recording the album, among them such icons and studio luminaries as Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder, Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Johnny McDaid (Example, Biffy Clyro), Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd), and MoZella (Miley Cyrus, One Direction).   Blunt will hit the U.S. for a three month sold out tour this Summer alongside Ed Sheeran. His previous album “Moon Landing” (2013) was certified Platinum in UK, and included the stunning single “Bonfire Heart” which broke into the Billboard Top 40 in the US and reached #1 across numerous European charts. BUY/STREAM
