Vertex Announces Artist Performance Schedule by Day and Unveils “2-Day Fri & Sat Ticket,” “2-Day Sat & Sun Ticket” and “Single Day Tickets”
Vertex – the inaugural music and camping festival in Buena Vista, Colorado on August 5-7, 2016 – unveiled its artist performance schedule by day. You can view the daily schedule HERE.
Also announced today, the Vertex “2-Day Fri & Sat Ticket “and “2-Day Sat & Sun Ticket,” each a $185.00 reduced rate ticket that allows access to the show on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 or Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7, and include camping on those days. Vertex “Single Day Tickets” for $85.00 allow single day access on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of the festival and include single day camping. 2-Day Tickets and Single Day Tickets on sale now at www.vertexfestival.com while they last.
A portion of all Vertex ticket sales will be used to support the launch of Vertex’s local philanthropic programs. For this inaugural year, Vertex will be working with Chaffee County and the Town of Buena Vista to begin the development of a long-awaited community garden. In addition, Vertex’s Music In Schools Program is partnering with Buena Vista’s public schools to help provide funding for their middle school and high school music departments. The money donated will help to pay for 2016-2017 Honor Band and Choir travel to competitions across the state and country, and to support the purchase of new band and choir performance uniforms. Hosted in a stunning mountain valley setting of Cottonwood Meadows in Buena Vista, Vertex will showcase the best of Colorado. As a community-minded event that merges diverse musical genres, art, and a variety of experiences and outdoor adventures, Vertex promises an elevated experience that takes the U.S. festival and its culture to new heights – Colorado style.

Throughout the weekend, Vertex “Field Trips” will offer attendees opportunities to enjoy all that Chaffee County has to offer, including white water rafting excursions, hot springs visits, guided hikes and trips to Downtown BV. Attendees can lounge in hammocks in Shady Grove, enjoy songs and storytelling on the Campfire Terrace, or use the telescopes on the Starfeild Terrace for evening sky gazing.
For its inaugural year, Vertex hosts over 40 diverse live music performances including headliners ODESZA, Alabama Shakes and the Trey Anastasio Band (2 sets, plus Duke Dumont, Seven Lions, Jai Wolf, Dopapod, Hiatus Kaiyote, Graham Nash, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Houndmouth, The Revivalists Emancipator Ensemble, Buckwheat Zydeco, eight recently announced Colorado acts, and more.
