Hot off their intoxicating remix of Green Velvet’sLa La Land,” Brighton’s prolific tech-house duo Prok|Fitch drop triple track EP, Seagulls and launch a new world tour.

“We first started working on the Seagulls EP last year. As soon as Curtis (Green Velvet) heard a demo of ‘Parker The Virgin’ he wanted it,” they say, explaining how a single became an EP at the green-mohawked legend’s behest. Familiar and beloved faces at Sankeys, Amnesia, Ministry of Sound, Ultra Music Festival and EDC, Prok|Fitch kick off their “Insights” Tour on September 30, with a set at Las Vegas’ AFTER Terrace Afterhours. On October 1st, they join a stellar roster of heavyweights including Richie Hawtin, Chromeo, Hot Since 82, and The Black Madonna at San Diego’s CRSSD Festival, which released Prok|Fitch’s booming remix of AFTRWRK”s “Truth Be Told.” On November 5th, they join Dennis Ferrer, Roger Sanchez, and Robbie Rivera at Aruba’s upcoming Love Festival. The pair will also hit Australia, England, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands and Thailand on the “Insights Tour,” named for a theme to be revealed soon.

Many of the pair’s top tracks on Beatport’s tech-house chart involve Green Velvet and Relief, and Seagulls is sure to follow them to the top. “Relief actively encourage you to express yourself as artists,” they say of their winning streak. “Having that musical freedom is amazing and this EP represents exactly where we are right now musically, which is why we went on to write ‘Seagulls’ and ‘Tinkering’ too, both of which have been receiving crazy reactions on the dance floor.“ It’s easy to understand the reactions. Stripped-down, bottom-heavy, feverish, and delirious, Seagulls packs the raw, visceral energy of warehouse rave into three intricate, glitchy, adrenaline-charged, bass-laden, tech-house tracks.

It’s a robust sound Prok|Fitch has been working toward since forming in 2007 and has earned them raves on-air and in the booth. “We’re making the music we love and it’s effortless,” Prok|Fitch summarize. “It fuels our passion for house and techno, a passion that we’ve carried since day one.”
