The Martinez Brothers return in 2016 with an all-star collaboration featuring fashion and house icon Miss Kittin. ‘Stuff in the Trunk’ is a classic Martinez Brothers dance floor demolisher, as infectious, acid-toned grooves and chirps rashly carry Miss Kittin’s brash vocal effort. It’s a track tailor-made for peak time and sees the Martinez Brothers in fine form going into the Ibiza circuit.
‘Stuff in the Trunk’ and its 12 inch physical will officially release on the Bronx siblings’ very own Cuttin’ Headz imprint in early May. It marks the fourth release on the primarily vinyl label.
Steve and Chris will be playing a rare U.S festival set at EDC New York on May 14, and then will hit their usual array of European festivals and of course, Ibiza’s DC10. They’ve proved to be a force on the club circuit for years now, and are also now taking over the world of fashion as well. After a year producing and spinning for Riccardo Tisci and his Givenchy brand and collection, the boys worked with New Era to release a limited edition Cuttin’ Headz NE hat.
