The artist/producer duo behind three of 2016’s biggest #1 hits, The Chainsmokers have premiered a new track, “All We Know” featuring label mate and indie-pop artist Phoebe Ryan, on Apple Music’s Beats 1 ‘World Record’ today – check it out HERE.
The Chainsmokers are on a roll, having released three back-to-back double-platinum singles – current single “Closer” ft. Halsey, “Don’t Let Me Down” ft. Daya and “Roses” ft. Rozes. “Closer,” which features vocals from the duo’s own Drew Taggart, became their first track to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has held the position for six consecutive weeks. The track also currently reigns at #1 on the overall iTunes Top Songs chart, #1 in U.S. Shazam tags & #1 on U.S. Spotify (exceeding 315 million streams globally). In addition to these #1’s, “Closer” achieved #1 airplay at Pop radio this week and continues to climb at other formats going Top 10 at Rhythm & Top 15 at Adult Pop, commanding over 150 million in combined radio audience. The track’s lyric video, directed by Rory Kramer, is nearing 315 million views to date.
2016 has proven to be an incredible year for The Chainsmokers. The duo is simultaneously holding two spots in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the sixth straight week, with “Closer” ft. Phoebe was first recognized for her ingenious mashup of R. Kelly’s “Ignition” and Miguel’s “Do You,” which reached #1 on Hype Machine and has gone on to accumulate nearly 30 Million Spotify streams to date. Her debut EP, ‘MINE,’ came shortly after, drawing attention from the likes of tastemakers such as Taylor Swift, Tove Lo and Chloe Grace Moretz. This year, Phoebe has released the addictive singles “Chronic,” “Boyz N Poiz’n” and “Dollar Bill” ft. Kid Ink.
