A Truly Worthy Cause to Rave – The Cause

The community-focused club’s first show features George Fitzgerald, Leon Vynehall, Hammer, Fred P,  Machine Woman, DEBONAIR, Man Power, nd_Baumecker, Funkineven, Gigi FM, Silverlining and multiple surprise guests playing in the name of charity.

The bush fires have been burning for months with an estimated 1 billion animals wiped off the planet since its start and numerous communities having their homes destroyed. The terrifying situation is a world away from what is imaginable in the UK. The Cause and its associated partners aim to do their bit to help with three fundraising shows. On the 8th February, The Cause, Bizarro (an established promoter who tours artists such as Jayda G and The Black Madonna across their country and neighboring Aoeteroa New Zealand) and London party starters Percolate combine powers to pull out all the stops.

The party will run from 1pm ‘til 8am across six rooms at The Cause and Grow Tottenham. It is stacked with world-class house and techno talent who wanted to show support. Some of these artists are flying in especially, including nd_Baumecker who’s extended sets are a foundational part of Berghain / Panorama Bar‘s identity, Muallem of Munich’s Blitz Club, and rising star Budino, resident of Berlin’s infamous Cocktail D’AmoreGeorge Fitzgerald, Leon Vynehall, Hammer, Fred P,  Machine Woman, DEBONAIR, Man Power, nd_Baumecker, Funkineven, Gigi FM, Silverlining, Aquarian, Subb-an, Grainger and many more.

In-line with The Cause’s ethos, the club has also lined-up seven surprise guests. With the likes of Gerd Janson, Erol Alkan, Dan Shake, Daniel Avery, DJ Deeon, Batu and Voigtmann all playing unannounced at the club before, expect something very special.

Funds raised will be split between the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities and WIRES Wildlife Rescue Organisation who aim to raise $1.5 million (AUS) themselves.

Stuart Glen, co-founder of The Cause says “A lot of people reached out to us to help. Due to the last minute extension of our building, we had gaps in the diary and brought all our resources together. It feels great to strike back against all odds with such a ridiculously heavy line-up whilst simultaneously making a big chunk for organisations that need help.”
