The Russ Liquid Test today release their anticipated World Gone Crazy seven-track EP following the trio’s teasing of the record through singles Rise, World Gone Crazy and Communication Breakdown.
World Gone Crazy is a versatile mix of funk and electronic; featuring live instrumentation with a modernized polished sound. The EP consists of live drums, guitar, brass and digital sound design resulting in a hybrid style typically unfrequented in dance music. A diverse record comprised of hip hop, drum and bass, funk and downtempo, The Russ Liquid Test prove their utmost versatility while remaining true to the sound they’ve long cultivated.
The record’s title track ‘World Gone Crazy’ features Chicago-based rapper ProbCause who is known for his work with Chance The Rapper, SABA Pivot, Action Bronson and more. A stand out single with undeniable energy, the collaboration is a fitting lead for the EP.
